The Ironback
This lovely ironback chair was in a neglected state when Diane came across it but it was perfect for the Clarence House velvet. It was stripped down to the usable horsehair and then modern fabric used to make the chair a good shape and comfortable to use. Because it was ironback it had to be hand stitched - a real labour of love.
